The making of every single sculpture is a unique process of adapting and fine-tuning of ideas and feelings ...... it's life
Vita / Lebenslauf:
Sculptor residing in Heeswijk-Dinther (NL), autodidact.
The base for sculpting was laid some 50 years ago. He was inspired by Henry Moore, Michaelangelo and Rodin. The ultimate challenge to make fine arts a daily assignment is of more recent date, since 2009.
With the education in Advanced Engineering, Civil Engineering BSc, the first part of life passed along drinking water and irrigation projects, bridges, schools and hospitals in mainly Africa and Eastern Europe. These contacts and projects have left its traces, the alliance with people of past and present in Africa and Europe and in particular women are an endless source of inspiration.
Underlying themes are vulnerability, sustainability, scarcity of food and water.
